May 7, 2015 By Stefanie

Every year my family looks forward to visiting Schlitterbahn, a fun waterpark in Kansas City. Since this has now become a tradition for us, for about 4 years now, I have finally figured out how to adequately survive with my family at the waterpark. Since I feel I have a handle on this, I'd thought I'd share the love with y'all.Preparing for a trip to the waterparkAt Schlitterbahn you can bring in food, just no glass or alcohol. The night before our visit I prepare a lunch for my … [Read more...]

The tour put on by Bike and Roll, is a little shop you might miss if you aren't looking for it, but it is busy. Here you can rent bicycles, take bike tours and Segway tours.Bike and Roll had a rough weekend with their employees, so our … [Read more...]

Review: Coco Key North Shore Boston

February 13, 2015 By Marybeth

Ahhh after all this snow we have been getting in the Boston area, it was so wonderful to be able to spend the evening at Coco Key Water Park in Danvers, Ma. I suggest that if you have cabin fever (which I can't imagine you wouldn't) then you head to Coco Key Water Park.  It is so much fun and there is so much to do and enjoy!  From the moment we stepped through the doors my kids wanted to throw themselves in the water.  They couldn't believe how warm it was (despite the snowfall outside). … [Read more...]

Create Hands On – North Dartmouth, MA

January 27, 2015 By Marybeth

Our family made a wonderful stop in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Our purpose: to visit Create Hands On. I was intrigued by the unique idea behind create hands on. I knew it would be a place that my children would love but I also thought a lot about the ability Create Hands On would have in providing a more social outing for families. Instead of just seeing a movie together with limited communication families could create things together and talk about what they were doing or just talk about … [Read more...]

Awe Inspiring Lamanai Ruins – Belize

January 21, 2015 By Stefanie

In October my family took a Caribbean cruise that made several stops to destinations I had yet to visit. My sister, being a former travel agent, knew the activities she wanted to do, so we all tagged along with her plans. I'm so glad we decided to go with her to visit the Lamanai Ruins in Belize. The Carnival ship we were on didn't offer this excursion because of its distance from Belize City, where it docked. Because of this, we set off on our own with a different tour company and hoped we'd … [Read more...]

Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede

December 30, 2014 By Stefanie

If you've been reading my blog for any number of months you know that my family is a HUGE fan of Branson, and especially Dolly Parton's Stampede. While there are a lot of fun shows to see in Branson, and several great dinner shows, this one if the best in our opinion. It is family friendly and does a great job of entertaining everyone for the full hour and a half it runs. You can read about our full experience to the "normal" Dolly Parton's Stampede show and then keep reading on to … [Read more...]
