During my trip to Los Angeles for The BFG premiere, we also had the opportunity to screen the first episode of Future-Worm! and interview its creator, Ryan Quincy. It was a pretty fun morning I can't wait to share with you.About Future-Worm!In this animated comedy adventure, an optimistic 12-year-old named Danny Douglas creates a time machine lunch box through which he meets and befriends Future Worm, a fearless worm from the future (with titanium-enforced abs). Talking to Giants: Mark Rylance and Jermaine Clement
In "The BFG" you will find yourself surrounded by GIANTS. Especially since you can see it in 3D and feel even more in the film. I was lucky enough to be able to spend some time with 2 of the giants in the film, Academy Award winner Mark Rylance ("The BFG") and Jermaine Clement ("Fleshlumpeater").The day before we had gotten the cute "BFG" figurine, so someone decided to put theirs on the table for the actors to see. Mark hadn't yet seen the "BFG" pop vinyl figure so he really enjoyed looking … [Read more...]
Sitting at the Feet of Steven Spielberg and Ruby Barnhill
It's always very exciting when the opportunity arises to interview Hollywood legends. I knew it was a HUGE deal to be interviewing Steven Spielberg, the most famous director in Hollywood. He directed the movies of my childhood like ET and the Indiana Jones series (which is one of my favorite movies!). I was really excited and pretty nervous about seeing him in person. When Steven Spielberg and Ruby Barnhill walked into the room it was clear that they really cared for each other. … [Read more...]
The BFG Red Carpet Premiere
Disney provided an all expense trip to attend The BFG red carpet premiere. All opinions are my own.I LOVE going to red carpet events. It's so exciting going to a place where you don't feel like you should be. The streets are lined with people hoping to catch a glimpse of a Hollywood star, and there I am walking down the red carpet with a group of bloggers thinking "I should be on the other side of that barrier with all those people." It's surreal, seriously. But here are some fun pictures of … [Read more...]

He showed us a small clip of the film including some of the parts that were in the teaser. It was pretty exciting! The Story of Moana CG-animated feature film about an … [Read more...]

Family Dance Party with Just Dance: Disney Party 2
If you have ever asked a child to do some chores you have probably heard the whining that tends to commence with the request. At our house we use Saturdays as our "chore day". The kids still have to clean their rooms, do the dishes, help with laundry and other smaller tasks through the week but on Saturday everything must get done. This often results in a lot of groans and whines. My husband and I try to make this cleaning process fun by putting on some music and making a dance party out of … [Read more...]
