Tiny Love Product Review

October 7, 2015 By Marybeth Leave a Comment

I had recently received a few amazing products from Tiny Love.  I absolutely adore these products.  One of the products we received was the Discover the World Play Mat.  What a terrific item!  There are so many things I love about this design.  First off I love maps- in fact we have a map of the United States in our play room.  The fact that tiny love made the world their base for a baby play mat was indeed inspired.  Not only do I love the colors and the cleverness about it but I love the … [Read more...]

LeapFrog’s Word Whammer

October 4, 2015 By Stefanie Leave a Comment

As a LeapFrog Mom Ambassador, I was sent educational toys and materials to share as I see fit. All opinions are my own. As a child I struggled a little with reading. It wasn't my favorite activity so I tried to avoid it as I could. How I wish these amazing learning games that LeapFrog now has were around then. Luckily, my children are the recipients of such wonderful fun learning tools including this Word Whammer.  What is a Word Whammer? It reminds me of a "Bop It" with its turning and … [Read more...]

A Day in the Life of Our Summer

July 2, 2015 By Stefanie Leave a Comment

Summer break has been in full swing at our house for 7 weeks now! Boredom easily creeps in so here are so suggestions to break up the day and keep introducing fun. This has worked great at my house. 1. Each child has a morning routine. When they wake up they eat breakfast, clean their room, practice the piano and do several pages in their educational workbook. I have found that my kids actually don't mind doing the workbook and I enjoy that they are keeping their skills sharp for … [Read more...]

November 24, 2014 By Stefanie 3 Comments

I received a free toy plus compensation for this review, however, all opinions are completely my own. I didn't get my first sewing machine until I was 22 and graduating from college. Even then I didn't know how to use it. Luckily I had some friends that were willing to go slow and help me and plenty of blogs with tutorials got me through my beginning stages. I think my daughter is pretty lucky to be getting Spin Master's Sew Cool Sewing Machine ($29.99) at the age of 9. This threadless … [Read more...]
