Women Owned ‘Teach My’ Kits Hit Walmart Shelves

When I started Making of a Mom over 3 years ago it was my third attempt in the small business world. This attempt seems to be going a lot better than my first two and so I’ll be sticking with it. It has also opened my eyes to world of Women Owned small businesses! I feel a strong desire to work with and support other women owned small businesses!

As you know (if you’ve been reading for the past few years) I’m a big fan of Teach My. Teach My products are so much fun for family bonding. I have several of the learning kits that my baby loved (the Teach My baby kit is their most popular product!). He grew into a toddler and loved that kit as well. When my middle son was a preschooler he enjoyed playing that learning kit with me and showing off all his awesome knowledge! Now my toddler is enjoying being a big boy and learning all the information in the preschooler kit.

Teach My is a company that is proud to be Women Owned. Started by Christy Cook when her son was a toddler, she realized the need for an all-inclusive educational kit that parents could work on with their children. The Teach My learning kits are so amazing, age appropriate and entertaining along with being educational. I love fun things that let kids learn without realizing it!

Last year I was so excited to tell you about how Teach My was on Toys R Us shelves. Now I’m super excited that their reach is expanding and they are now on Walmart shelves! If you ever visit the Educational Toy aisle at Walmart, now sitting next to your other favorite educational brands you will find Teach My! It’s an exciting thing that Teach My, Walmart and Women Owned are working together to promote and uplift each other. As a woman and small business owner it makes me feel a lot of happy feelings.

    my youngest two sons are 5 and 6 and I would choose the preschooler. They will be going into kindergarten and grade one next year.

    My son Gunner is 6 months and ive been looking for something educational like this for him . It would be perfect and so much fun. I would choose the Baby one!!
