That is where it brings about a great deal of benefits distinctly to that person. People pretty much … [Read more...]

Disclosure: This is a compensated post. Regardless all opinions and experiences are my own. Yours may differ. We have a lot of electronic devices in our home, probably too many. We have 3 old iPhones (they were hand-me-downs), 2 Samsung Galaxy S3's, and two Android tablets. Yes, now that I type that out I know it is too many things. The kicker is that each of these devices is loaded with educational apps for my kids. We have math apps, puzzle apps, spelling apps and my newest … [Read more...]

March 5, 2014 By Stefanie

My daughter is in second grade. She is really bright and loves to learn! She does, at times, struggle with Math. I was able to find these K-2 Math flash cards. The way the flash cards works makes it very easy for my daughter to use the website herself. I get her on the right … [Read more...]

PowerMyLearning Review

July 25, 2013 By Stefanie

Disclaimer: This post was brought to you by our friends at PowerMyLearning. All opinion expressed are my own.My Mom's occupation was elementary school teacher. For that reason I often had to attend summer school, or do summer work so as to not "lose my skills". At the time I was not happy about these "summer burdens" but now as a parent I see the wisdom. My daughter is going into second grade so for the past 2 summers I have bought workbooks for her to complete. This summer the workbook I … [Read more...]

Puzz Story!

February 26, 2013 By Johanna

The makers of Puzz Story ought to be proud! This is an awesome lesson in History! Their slogan is “The book, the puzzle, and the poster combine to form a new exciting educational product for children.”This was so much fun my little children. At 4 and 6 they had a blast learning what all the puzzle pieces were called and liked looking at the “map” after it was all put together. I was actually surprised at how much they knew! They knew different dinosaurs, mammoths and saber tooth tiger, and … [Read more...]

How Moms can Save Money on Returning to Education

August 6, 2012 By Stefanie

Going back to college can be a good way to become a more valuable asset to an employer, though finding ways to pay for the expense of returning to school can be a problem. For mothers making this decision, coming up with the money can be even harder due to family obligations.
