Sand art is a fun, economical craft that children and adults alike can enjoy. The best part is, you don’t need a whole lot of special supplies to do it. While there are premade kits you can purchase, you’ll find your craft budget goes much further if you scavenge your clear containers and produce your own colored sand.Coloring sand may seem like a challenge, particularly if you are not especially crafty to begin with. In actuality, it’s easier than pie, and there are two methods so you can … [Read more...]

During the summer it seems like popsicles are a huge part of our lives. We eat them everyday. They are a fun and cool snack when the kids are playing hard in the back yard. Adding Straps to a Swimming Suit
I got this very cute swimming suit on super sale a few months ago. It is last year's design at Lime Ricki and I loved it! I love the colors and the pattern and since it was such a great discount, I bought it! I didn't (and don't) love the single strap around my neck (it ties around my neck, it isn't attached at the shoulders like it may appear in the picture). It doesn't give me confidence that my suit is going to stay on my body when I go down a water slide, or play around with my kids in the … [Read more...]

The Back Story Every year for Valentines Day my dad would make each of my brothers and sisters a homemade valentine.
