March 26, 2013 By Stefanie

Sharing his or her loving and protecting parents is the last thing a tiny tot or a young kid would want to do. If not catered properly, this feeling might give rise to a sibling rivalry amongst the children. Forget welcoming, the older child will start detesting the thought of having a sibling who according to him will become the focal point of all your care and attention. It all depends on you as parents to deal sensitively with this issue. Make Your Child Welcome His Younger Sibling It is … [Read more...]

February 26, 2013 By Johanna

The makers of Puzz Story ought to be proud! This is an awesome lesson in History! Their slogan is “The book, the puzzle, and the poster combine to form a new exciting educational product for children.”This was so much fun my little children. At 4 and 6 they had a blast learning what all the puzzle pieces were called and liked looking at the “map” after it was all put together. I was actually surprised at how much they knew! They knew different dinosaurs, mammoths and saber tooth tiger, and … [Read more...]

Keeping your Garden in Good Shape

February 6, 2013 By Stefanie

Keeping your garden tidy and presentable can be a real challenge when you’ve got kids. The garden is one of the main play spots for suburban families. This creates a trade off between the garden being used as a practical area or a decorative space. However this gap can be narrowed with some clever garden maintenance/planning techniques. Now, normally we take something healthy- so don't judge me!! I saw several versions of this treat, but decided the others were more intensive than necessary (drawing with icing, etc) and they all added more cookies and candy while using frosting as the "glue".  I just can't feed my kids that much sugar!! And I … [Read more...]
