I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.
I have several friends who swear by essential oils. For this reason I contacted Plant Therapy and asked to review some of their oils. They sent me the top 6 synergies sample set. This set includes oil blends of:
- Sensual
- Energy
- Germ Fighter
- Relax
- Immune-Aid
- Tranquil
As I am not familiar with using oils I had to look up how to use these oils. Here is how Plant Therapy says the oils can be used:
Massages: Massage is one of the most beneficial methods of using essential oils because it combines the therapeutic powers of the essential oil with the benefits of touch therapy.
Inhalation: Inhalation is one of the quickest ways to experience the therapeutic benefits of essential oils. This method is highly beneficial for helping respiratory ailments. Persons with asthma or epilepsy should avoid inhaling essential oil.
Baths: Adding essential oils to a hot, soothing bath can create a relaxing and therapeutic experience.
Essential Oil Diffuser: Diffusers and Aromatherapy go hand-in-hand. Adding essential oils to a diffuser effectively introduces the therapeutic properties and fragrance to any environment.
Compress: Compresses are an effective way to apply essential oils directly to areas where they are needed the most.
I have used these oils by dabbing a little behind my ears. The first time I used them I also put a dab on my wrists but found that the oil aggravated my skin, so now I just keep it behind my ears. I have also been dabbing it behind my kids ears as well. I put the Immune-Aid on my daughter everyday as I send her out the door to school. My favorite oil of this set is definitely the Energy oil. With a 3 month old that doesn’t believe in sleep I am definitely lacking energy everyday. In the morning I dab some energy oil on the back of my ears and it has carried me through the day. I actually LOVE it and I have told you in the past that I’m not a big believe in herbal and alternative remedies. The energy oil includes peppermint, rosemary, lemon and eucalyptus. It smells very refreshing and really brightens me up! I also use another dab when I head off to the gym in the evening.

I would love to try Balance Synergy (For Women). I’m trying to find an all natural oil that will work with the hormones in my body since my hysterectomy. I’m looking for an alternative to the hormones they recommend you take after a hysterectomy but they all cause a form of cancer in some patients. Since cancer runs through my family, my only option is to find something homeopathic. Thanks so much for the giveaway.

The only oil I have heard about pertaining to therapy is Lavender and relaxation. I don’t know what the rest of them are used for so Lavender would have to be my favorite through process of elmination.
