Landing Zone Party at the #DisneyPLANESPremiere

August 7, 2013 By Stefanie

Disclosure: Disney paid for my trip to attend the Disney PLANES Premiere. All experiences and opinions are my own. Yours may differ.

planesredcarpet

I didn’t really know what to expect getting to attend a Disney red carpet premiere, but I knew I was SUPER excited and blessed to be there! Once we (the 25 bloggers on this trip) got past security and started walking down the red carpet I almost had to pinch myself. On the left side of us (barricaded from our red carpet) were the celebrities. Terri Hatcher is the first celebrity I saw. There were tons of paparazzi and reporters screaming her name and taking photos. We were walking behind the celebrities and ended up being in several of their pictures. I tried to walk speedily because I didn’t want to be in any of the photos that could potentially be publish.

Once we entered the Target Landing Zone there were tents with games, crafts, flight simulators and food to enjoy! Check out that big bounce house obstacle course!

planespremiereactivity

Target sponsored the pre-premiere party and did a fantastic job. I immediately wanted to start playing all the games and start winning some PLANES toys for my kids! There were a lot of fun games such as Skeeball, balloon darts, fly fishing, a claw, ball shooting game, and basketball hoops.

gamedisneyplanespremiere

We had such a blast playing all of the games and competing against each other in some of the games! It was such a fun “carnival” type atmosphere we had fun acting like kids again! I am proud to tell you I did win a couple things to bring home to my kids. Look how cute this plush Dusty toy is! He is available at Target if you want to own one too!

This is Karen from Koupon Karen, Kenda from Remaking June Clever and me!

Of course the night wouldn’t be complete without a group shot at the photo booth! Heidi from Save More Spend Less with Heidi, me, Kenda, Karen and Connie from MiscFinds4U.

planespremieregroup

The time for the movie to begin was getting near so I decided to get some food. Target had out little slices of pizza so I ate a slice. I also had a little strawberry Jamba Juice smoothie. There were also sliders, corn on the cob and cotton candy available.

el_capitan_theater_Disney_planes_premiere

Oh and I think it is worth mentioning that while all of this was going on I was having celebrity sightings! I saw Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, Kendra Wilkinson, Bella Thorne , Robert Herjavec, Dane Cook, Teri Hatcher, John Lasseter, Beth Littleford, Regan Burns and several other celebrities. It was surreal!

celebritiesdisneyplanespremiere

A BIG thanks again to Disney for sponsoring this trip! Attending the Disney Planes Premiere was an amazing experience. Now that it has been a couple days since it happened it feels like it was a dream. I am just glad I have to photos to prove I was there!

You can see PLANES this Friday, August 9th at a theatre near you in Disney Digital 3D!
