Jellyfish Paper Craft

July 25, 2023 By Stefanie

The theme of our summer break has been crafts. We have been crafting up a storm at home and going to a lot of craft classes in the community. The trick to this being fun for the whole family (read MOM) is that the crafts are easy enough to be completed without very many instructions and easy enough for my 3 year old. Cheap crafts are always welcome, and this definitely fits in that category. Not to mention it will make a ton of them, so it’s crafting for a long while.

As I was thumbing through some craft ideas I saw some very cute paper jellyfish and decided to figure out how to make a similar version. I knew all my kids would love this since each child can personalize them with their favorite colors. These are so darling, are made from supplies you probably have in your home already and quickly made.

Supplies

Jellyfish-Supplies

  • Streamers
  • cupcake papers
  • string
  • glue
  • scissors

Directions

Jellyfish-Paper-Craft-Process

  1. Using your scissors, put a small whole in the middle of the cupcake paper.
  2. Cut 12 inches of string (or whatever desired length of string).
  3. Push string through hole in cupcake wrapper and tie a knot.
  4. Using 3 colors (you can use more in desired) cut an 18 inch length (or however long you want).
  5. Since the streamers are so thick, cut your pieces in half.
  6. Glue the top of each streamer half onto the top of the cupcake paper.
  7. Once it dries gather the streamers in your hand and scrunch them.

DONE! Aren’t these so, so darling? These would make great decorations for a Finding Dory party, or any under the sea themed party. They are a great activity for the kids to keep them busy during summer.

Hi! Do you know if they make any plugins to help with
SEO? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m
not seeing very good gains. If you know of any please share.
Thanks! You can read similar art here: Bij nl
