Coming to Blu-ray Combo on September 15 is Monkey Kingdom from Disneynature. I love all the Disneynature films. They have a way of making a "documentary" type film so interesting even my kids love to watch them. From Disneynature, the studio that brought you Chimpanzee and Bears, comes MONKEYKINGDOM, a spectacular tale set among ancient ruins in the storied jungles of South Asia. Maya, a clever and resourceful monkey, finds her world forever changed when she welcomes her son Kip into her … [Read more...]

It's so exciting to learn about the new Disney movies I can look forward to. Coming next March is Zootopia. The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer … [Read more...]
DISNEY•PIXAR’s THE GOOD DINOSAUR
It's always really exciting to learn about new Disney movies coming out. I LOVE the Disney Pixar combo's because they end up being the best movies(in my opinion). Well, coming Thanksgiving is The Good Dinosaur. Great news! Into the Woods is now on Blu-ray combo and digital HD! As soon as this movie was announced I was so excited. I mean it is a pretty funny musical, with great music and check out the cast - incredible! The movie did not disappoint. I was able to see it a little early and loved it so much. Everyone in the theater was laughing and clapping throughout. It is such a great film, and pretty family friendly being only PG. Disney Provides A Passport to Adventure
I received something of value from Feld Entertainment as part of their Insider Program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.Last night my family had the privilege of going to Disney on Ice: Passport to Adventure at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. It was so much fun to continue our tradition of 4 years now.Every year I walk out of the Sprint center and say "that was the best Disney on Ice yet!" and every year it is true. This year … [Read more...]
The Music and Sounds of TinkerBell and the Legend of the Neverbeast
I have a very musical background. Music was important in my home. My Father was a professional musician (classical) for several years of his life. My Mother is a very good organ and piano player. All of their children were required to play an instrument. I took piano lessons for a little while when I was young but didn't love it so I gave that up and picked up a violin. I played all through high school and on my own in college. I still dabble with it here and there. As a Mother I know the … [Read more...]
TinkerBell and the Legend of the Neverbeast Film Review
Disney's newest Tinkerbell flick, TinkerBell and the Legend of the Neverbeast (Though Fawn is the main character, so the title is a little deceiving) is out NOW! You can purchase this at a store near you or get it on Disney Movies Anywhere. I already have this downloaded on my iPad! I want to give you my thoughts about the movie without spoiling it, so I apologize for the vagueness now. This movie is very different from the past fairy movies, in my opinion. This one is very emotional and while … [Read more...]
Ginnifer Goodwin on Playing the Role of ‘Fawn’
I was really excited for my Ginnifer Goodwin interview, I mean she's around, on TV, some shows and movies that I watch, so I was super excited! She is so darling and it was so amazing to gather around a table with 11 other bloggers and just have a conversation with her. I was seriously 3 chairs away from her, and dying!Ginnifer Goodwin voices Fawn, the animal talent Fairy and the main character in TinkerBell and the Legend of the Neverbeast. Of course the first question we asked her was how … [Read more...]
The Man Behind Baymax – Speaking with Scott Adsit
Baymax is definitely my favorite character in Big Hero 6. Although a robot, he is so lovable, and his squishy outer layer makes him very huggable (I would assume). It was so fun to be able to sit down with Scott Adsit and chat about what it was like to be the voice behind this larger than life character that will definitely become a Disney legacy.Since I've never seen the show 30 Rock before (which is what he says most people recognize him from) my fan girl feelings were solely for him … [Read more...]
Learning about the Animation in TinkerBell and the Legend of the Neverbeast
Man, is animation a complicated business! Listening to Mike Greenholt and Ryan Green explain the process of animating TinkerBell and the Legend of the Neverbeast and specifically creating the movements of Gruff, was amazing and confusing. HA!One thing that is very interesting that I have been learning on these Disney trips where we get to learn more about the behind-the-scenes is that it takes a TON of people to make a movie, especially an animated movie because 1 person usually only works … [Read more...]
The Story Behind TinkerBell and the Legend of the Neverbeast

Today I'm sharing my interview with the Director Steve Loter and Producer Michael Wigert. The story of TinkerBell and theLegend of the Neverbeast is a good one. Director Steve … [Read more...]
