2 cups all purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter softened
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
Preheat over to 350. Grease and flour cake pan or grease and line with waxed paper. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together in large bowl. Stir in sugar. Add butter, milk and vanilla; beat with electric mixer on low for 30 seconds. Beat at medium speed 2 minutes. Add eggs; beat 2 minutes. Pour into prepared cake pan and bake as directed until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan then invert to wire rack and cool completely.

1 10 inch bundt cake 45-50 minutes
2 9 inch cakes 35-40 minutes
2 8 inch squares 30-35 minutes
3 8 inch rounds 20-25 minutes
8 large 4 inch cupcakes 35-40 minutes
