VTech’s Roll & Learn Activity Suitcase™ – Review & Giveaway

My baby, being the third child, does not have a lot of things that are just his. Mostly everything has been a hand me down. So when asked if I would be interested in reviewing the Roll & Learn Activity Suitcase™ I said a big YES PLEASE! I know my baby doesn’t care if he has new things, but I think it is fun for him to have a couple things to call his own one day (but he is a very good sharer).

First of all this toy is really big so there is a lot of space for a lot of different activities. The number roller and piano keys are fun for teaching numbers and colors. They also play fun melodies. The play phone is detachable and initiate the suitcase teaching your child greetings in English and Spanish. There are travel themed accessories on the suitcase that when pushed, talk about transportation and famous places around the world. The travel objects are also used to play like a shape sorter on the back of the suitcase. The suitcase opens up to reveal some fun stickers that look like packed items and a little story book with one page to flip.

Another feature I think is very fun is that when you pull the suitcase along it then plays some melodies. I love that the rolling motion of the wheels begin the music. Once my baby learns to walk, I know he is going to love to pull this suitcase around and around with him.

The Roll & Learn Activity Suitcase™ is recommended for children ages 12-36 months. My baby is a little younger than that so he just sits and bangs on it and listens to the music and watches the lights. My older kids are way older than 36 months so they really can understand how to play with it. They like repeated the Spanish phrases. They love to sing along with the songs. My son is 4 and likes to pack it full of his cars and take them on a “trip”. My 7 year old daughter packs the suitcase full of baby toys for the baby and pretends to take him on a trip. We are big travelers so this toy has been around the world on several pretend trips already!
