Some of you may use photoshop, some of you may use gimp or some other photo editing software. I personally am not good at those complicated systems. Plus, I don’t necessarily need all the many features they offer. These programs are great for certain projects, but if you have a smaller project in mind, especially one that required multiple photos, than perhaps the PearlMountain Image Converter is for you.
Last week I was introduced to PearlMountain’s Batch Image Converter (retail value $39.99). This awesome software lets you manipulate THOUSANDS (yes thousands!!) of images at a time! My favorite feature of this software is the Watermark feature. With this software I can upload all the pictures I want to use on Making of a Mom and watermark them all in 2 minute, LITERALLY it takes 2 minutes or less to watermark all the pictures I want! Plus, you can save different “profiles” so if you need different watermarks for different images, you got it covered.
Here is what Johanna said about this software: “The software is pretty straightforward. You can change the format to jpeg, bitmap, pdf, and many other formats that I’ve never heard of. You can crop and resize your image and do all the standard photo corrections like brightness, contrast, etc. You can add borders to your photos and best of all, you can add watermarks- either pictures or text. I like that I can save a “profile”; I made 2, one for horizontal photos and one vertical photos. That means I can insert a photo and open my profile and it is already the size I need and the watermark is sitting snugly in the corner of the picture! Voila! Saves me so much time!”
This software is SUPER user friendly. I’m not so great with any photo software but I decided to play around with it and I had it figured out in a few minutes! I LOVE this software if you can’t tell! 🙂
Also, as Johanna spoke of you can check the picture format to anything you want! You can also crop, rotate and resize the images. There is also a brightness and contrast option.
You may think this doesn’t have very many features, but that is the point. Instead of having a huge, overwhelming amount of features, PearlMountain breaks up the features into different pieces of software. They offer multiple programs that have different features so you can buy the package you are looking for at an affordable price instead of buying one HUGE software for a crazy high price!
The software is pretty straightforward. You can change the format to jpeg, bitmap, pdf, and 7 other formats that I’ve never heard of. Voila! Saves me so much time!
The only downside I found with this software is that when I downloaded it on my netbook it didn’t fit. The software doesn’t resize or allow you to scroll up and down, so I wasn’t able to see the whole program, including the save button. Once I loaded it on a full size laptop all was well and I have been using it everyday!
The best news of all is that I have 12 licenses to give away for FREE! I can share this amazing software with 12 of you! I can’t wait for you to try it!
