Strawberry Shortcake Trifles
- Angel Food Cake
- Strawberries – sliced
- Whipped Cream (in a tub or can, I used both)
- Slice strawberries and cut the Angle Food cake into cubes.
- Layer berries and cake into individual glasses. First cake cubes, the strawberry slices then whipped cream. I used the tube whipped cream in between my layers because I think it tastes better and then topped with the can whipped cream. Continue until glass is full.
- Top with a dollop of whipped cream.
The whipped cream melts fast, especially now that it is warmer outside, so don’t top the Strawberry Short Cake with whipped cream until serving.
For easier consumption I found that if I did equal parts cake to strawberry sliced each bite was like a mini strawberry shortcake in your mouth.
