Halloween wouldn’t be Halloween without the piles of candy. Trick-or-treating and enjoying the candy is a great activity as long as you keep up your oral health while enjoying! At our house we limit the Halloween candy our kids get eat day. When they come home form trick-or-treating we go through the candy to make sure it is safe. We through out all the yucky kinds (you know the orange and black wrapped taffy’s!)We let them pick out a couple pieces to enjoy that night and then each day they can choose a couple pieces to eat. We have found that after several days they forget about the candy and most of it ends up in the trash.

To ensure proper oral healthy while enjoy an increase of sweet treats this is what dentists recommend: Crest Pro-Health. You can get your Crest Pro-Health coupon here:

Don’t skim on the treats, just up your brushing and flossing and have a #SweetHalloween cavity free!
