Getting engaged is so much fun! Immediately as a couple you begin to plan your wedding and life beyond that together. Of course, you will incorporate the things you both love into your wedding and beyond. Using a Target Wedding Registry is a great way to let others know what gifts you would like to receive and what things interest you as a couple.

When my husband and I got engaged we were really excited to take a lot of time roaming the isles of Target and registering for everything we wanted. I’m sure we spent several hours there. One thing that we KNEW was going to be apart of our life was entertaining and games. We love to play games together and with friends and with that comes entertaining others.

In order to be prepared for this aspect of our life together we registered for a lot of games. We chose group games that would be appropriate for us to have many friends over. We also needed to have the tools to provide food and snacks while we were entertaining. We registered for bakeware which would help with everyday life and entertaining. We also registered for enough dishes that we could have extra people over!

We didn’t think about it at the time but registering for a camera would have been smart! Capturing our special moments as a new couple and the fun times with our friends was a must! Giving a camera as a gift is a great idea! Now that we just celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary our kids like to go back and look at the pictures of us when we were engaged and newly married. It’s fun for the whole family that those moments were captures forever.

Target was the only place we registered because it carries everything we needed. We love the style and the selection at Target. Once we had our wedding and received our gifts, anything we didn’t get for the wedding we still purchased with the Target gift cards people gave us.
