Edible Arrangements Premiere Apple Truffles – A Sweet Gift

I love when the Edible Arrangements delivery person shows up at my house. This month I didn’t know what they were bringing so it was a surprise when my husband was handed a box. We have invited friends over to come enjoy the Edible Arrangements goodness so we waited until they arrive to see what was inside.

Beautiful! These lovely little goodies are Premier Apple Truffles. This is a 30 count box that sells for $49. Just like the lovely fruit basket from last month, these Granny Smith apples were fresh and juicy. Edible Arrangements has made little Granny Smith apple bites and dipped them in smooth semisweet chocolate. They were then covered in micro chocolate chips, cinnamon or white chocolate drizzle. These little treats were big enough for two bites and then they were gone!

My first though was “What a gorgeous gift.” Send this box to someone as a gift would definitely impress them. They are so beautiful. We took a moment to admire then before we started digging in. I tried each of the flavors. My opinion was that the chocolate was very dark. We are definitely milk chocolate lovers in this house, so the semisweet chocolate seemed rather dark to us. I have a couple sisters that would be in heaven with these little delicacies! One thing about the cinnamon ones, it isn’t over powering at all. You might think with the big cinnamon chunks it might be a kick in the mouth, but it isn’t. It’s nice.

We ate most of the apples the first day but wanted to keep some to see how they would do over a couple days. The consensus with the apple truffles was just like the fruit basket, they need to be eaten within 2 days for the best flavor and freshness.

    I just received great news, so I would share it with my twinsister, her first grandson is going home after 2 1/2 months in the hospital. He was born almost 3 1/2 month premature! And Jaxson is finally going to meet the rest of his family! It’s a win win for all! Chocolate & Apples.

    I would probably keep to enjoy my self but share with my hubby and coworkers.Seems a bit high in price at over a dollar per truffle. But EA is always over priced. Would like to try though. I love granny smith apples. Maybe they’ll come out with a peanut butter chocolate one! Yum

    I LOVE Edible Arrangements! My daughter in college does not get enough fresh produce, I can send congratulations, consolation, or just “thinking of you” deliciousness so easily, and often with reusable containers. Many of her friends are Kosher, so I always order from the certified store near her so she can share.
