Don’t humidify, Rumidify!

We only just discovered using humidifiers when our children are sick. We asked around to experienced parents as to how to best help congested, sick kids and we got a resounding answer: put a humidifier in their room. Now that we see this helps, I’m very excited to introduce the Rumidifier.

They say necessity is the mother of all inventions and our story wasn’t any different. When our founder’s children were young, they fell ill over the winter with chest congestion, colds and flu. The doctor recommended that they purchase a room humidifier for the home to help the situation so that they could breathe comfortably again. When he was looking for humidifiers, all he could find were ones that plugged into electricity. They used up energy and added to the hydro bill, they were noisy, had high maintenance and he felt they were unsafe as there was a chance that they could catch fire.

    Easy to fill, and when a side tank is empty, it pops up. It would work very well for me since I am a really light sleeper. And no operating costs!

    I love that it helps with allergies! I would give this to my dad who has a cat even though he is allergic because my stepmother had the cat before him! For the most part he is used to it. But this could help 🙂 thanks

    I’m not sure what I’m more excited about. The fact that it doesn’t use electricity so it’s a cheaper and safer option for my little ones or the fact that it’s easy to clean. My kids are all susceptible to croup and so having this would be such a lifesaver.

    I like that you don’t need to plug it in. My son has been using a humidifier since he was 2. It is always a pain to fill it up with water and plug it in. I always have to make sure it is somewhere he won’t mess with the plug.
