Disney on Ice Kansas City Giveaway

is coming to the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO in September!  My family is so excited about this as it has become a family tradition. We have now been going to Disney on Ice for 5 years. We started attending the year before we moved to Kansas City and have just continued to visit. My kids have loved all the shows and really enjoy seeing their favorite characters come to life on ice! This magical show will feature some of your favorite Disney princesses.

Enter a world where adventure is awaiting at Disney On Ice presents Dream Big. Join the Disney Princesses as they learn that courage leads the way. Then watch Anna, Elsa and Olaf from Disney’s Frozen discover that true love is the greatest magic of all. Believing is just the beginning when Disney On Ice presents Dream Big skates into Kansas City!

This incredible family event will take place at the Sprint Center with many performances:

• Thursday, Sept. 14, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 15, 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 16, 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
• Sunday, Sept. 17, 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Since I’ve been to Disney on Ice a few times I have a couple tips for helping it be extra magical for your kids.

1. Wear costumes!! If your kids love a particular character, have them wear their costume! A lot of kids will be dressed up and this is a fun way to make the show immersive.
2. Bring your own light up toy. Outside and inside the arena there will be light up toys for sale. These toys can be very expensive, especially if you need to buy for more than one child, so bring your own light up toy from a previous trip to Disney. You’ll save money and your kids will still get t join in the light up fun!
3. Bring cash if you think you might want to get some of the treats that people will be selling up and down the aisles. Oftentimes the snow cones are in fun themed cups that match the show. Also, the cotton candy is usually sold in a hat also matching the theme of the show. Come prepared as these treats are expensive.
