This is a compensated campaign to increase awareness of Hurtigruten Cruises out of Norway. All opinions are my own.
As I have entered my 30’s (with much resistance) I have begun to think about the things I would like to accomplish in my life and the places I would like to go. I hadn’t heard the term bucket list until 2007 when the movie came out. Up until that point I had goals for my life and dreams of places to go but hadn’t labeled it anything. Now that I’m in my 30’s and see more and more blog posts about people’s bucket lists, it made me was to start writing these things down and make it more official.
My family has always been a big travel family. Growing up we went on road trips and I remember having had visited way more states than any of my friends at school. The traveling continued after I got married. I didn’t think my engineer husband had a traveling job but we soon learned that for training purposes we would be exposed to lots of different places.
We went on our first cruise in 2007 and I was in love. It became my favorite form of vacation and was labels “a vacation within a vacation.” Being on a cruise ship is a vacation in itself with food, entertainment and your hotel room. The floating hotel then takes you to new and exciting places so you get off the ship and experience another mini vacation within the main vacation. It is so much fun. We’ve now been on 6 cruises and I’m planning our next!
Seeing the Northern Lights is something I’ve always wanted to do and since I’m now making a list, has been added to my official bucket list. Great news for me (and you) is that the amazing vacation that is cruising can be combined with seeing the Northern Lights by cruising with Hurtigruten on their Norway Voyages.
Norway has recently become a more well-known country because of a certain famous animated movie. Well, it is also well-known for being a beautiful place to visit and see the Northern Lights. Winter is a wonderful time to visit and take this voyage because of the unique adventures waiting for you. Hop on a snow mobile and cruise through the frozen landscape, take a mini polar expedition with a husky sledge adventure or cross into the Arctic Circle. Incredible experiences await you in Norway.
Hurtigruten offers flexible pricing on their cruises where the price remains lower until high occupancy levels are reached. This can offer you up to a 30% savings! Here are some of their special deals:

There’s no better time to have a Winter adventure that combines visiting beautiful Norway with seeing the Northern Lights. Visit and cross these things off your bucket list. Maybe you didn’t know Norway and/or the Northern Lights should be on your bucket list, but I think the beauty of both are worth experiencing. I look forward to the day when I see both! Check out more info about these Norway Voyages here.
Are either of these things on your bucket list? What places are on your bucket list?
