Disclosure: I was invited on a trip to Branson by the US Family Guides Blogger Network. All experiences and opinions are my own. Yours may differ.
My family just started going to water parks last year. Since we are relatively new to them, we aren’t too picky about the rides and features we want in a water park. White Water was amazing for us. There were so many rides, play areas, food, freebies and more that made this such a fun family day!
First of all, I LOVE that they have FREE life jackets for children and adults. Since they recommend every child and/or weak swimmer wears them in the wave pool and lazy river, it is nice that they provide them on site for free.
When you first get to White Water you have to walk through a very nice gift shop. This is great because if you forgot anything relating to a water park they have you covered – literally. Swimming suits, cover up, flip-flops, sun screen, sun glasses and more! It was a very fun shop continuing with the “surf” theme of the park.
The decor of the park is darling. There isn’t an ocean for hundreds of miles, but the “surfer” theme is so cute! It really is a tropical Oasis.
The newest thrill to come to White Water is Kapau Plummet. This thrill slide features a drop-floor AquaLaunch from atop a 4 story tower. There is a near 70 degree plunge and a two-story rider free fall through two 240-foot dueling slides followed by a spiraling loop. Unfortunately, with the kids we didn’t make it to that slide.
When we were hungry for lunch there were a ton of options, pizza, corn dogs, nachos, sandwiches, hamburgers, chicken fingers, fries, funnel cakes and more! There is definitely something for everyone. I love that they had a good selection of food so even my picky eaters could find something pleasing to them.
I know that shade is a big issue for my family. There was plenty of it at White Water. You can rent Cabanas if you want to guaranteed a shading isolated spot just for your family, or get to the park when it opens and place your things in a shady place. We were able to snag a couple of pool chairs under a shelter. There are lockers available for your personal items so you don’t have to leave out any valuables.
My kids’ favorite thing to do was the lazy river. We rode it over and over again. We would take breaks to visit other fun attractions within the park but always come back to the lazy river. It was a pretty fun one with lots of twist, turns, fun decor along the banks of the river and waterfalls throughout.
White Water is a fun way to spend your summer. You can easily upgrade a single day pass into a Season Pass and keep the fun happening throughout the summer. With their new Dive-In movie series and other fun special events throughout the summer, definitely add White Water to your summer bucket list!

This looks like a great family friendly park. Here in Florida, it is hard to find one that is not too large. We are going to try Legoland’s soon.

The only water park that we have been to is in Greensboro, NC and we had one of the best days ever. So I know without a doubt that we would love this.

My favorite water park is a local one called splash universe. It’s only the 2nd waterpark I’ve ever been too. It’s only 5 min from my house and that’s why I like it so much.

I’ve never been to Branson, but I’ve heard its great. Many years ago, I went to Lake Lanier Islands (Waterpark) near Atlanta GA. The wave pool was fun. However, now my speed is more like the Lazy River.

I haven’t been to a water park in 20 years. Don’t have a favorite one. I’d rather go rafting on the river.
