Choosing the Perfect Bedding for your Child + Giveaway

Picking bedding for children can be tricky if you start thinking too much about it. It’s hard because you want to get something they like but you also want it to last. Fads, styles, trends and even taste changing quickly so the key is to get something classic. If your children share a room then you have an extra layer of tricky trying to get coordinating bedding.

I love Beyond Bedding a LOT. I’ve been a fan of the website and their products for about 2 years now. Their selection of new baby bedding sets, children’s bedding and even their custom teen and toddler bedding is so cute and so varied, it’s easy to get something for everyone.

My kids recently got bunk beds, which caused a shuffle in rooms and created a need for new bedding. My daughter switched from a queen bed to a full. I was excited for this opportunity to also get new bedding for her. Since I love Beyond Bedding, already own some of their bedding, and love the $7.95 flat rate US shipping, I headed to that site to see what I could find.

I had a hard time shopping because there were so many cute designs, colors and patterns I wanted all of it! I especially loved the Chevron bedding, but when I considered my daughters tastes, my sons bedding that kind of needed to coordinate (at least a little) and picking something that could last several years I decided to go with the Hooty Owl Children’s bedding. I picked this set because it is very different than any bed set she has ever owned. It wasn’t as girlie as she usually chooses, and we’ve never gotten bedding with a “character” on it.

One reason I LOVE this bedding is because of the adorable details. There is a lot of beautiful embroidery stitching. There is also a combination or patterns and fabrics. For example, the twig the owl sits on as well as one of the leaves is a fuzzy fabric. I love that there is a combination of patterns and textures on the bedding. It really makes a beautiful piece of decor in my daughter’s bedroom.

Another fabulous thing about Beyond Bedding is that they also carry a ton of accessories for each of their bed sets. You can get the curtains, wall hangings, pillows, laundry baskets and more! Pretty much any accessory you need in the room and that you want to match, they carry.
