Chemical Free Cleaning with Norwex

August 26, 2017 By Stefanie

Raise your hand if you want to have a chemical free home? Have you heard of Norwex? I’m a newbie. My friend Amy began selling Norwex a few months ago and I’ve been slowly learning more and more about it. Using chemical-free cleaners and products has piqued my interest. As I learn more, I become more and more interested so I wanted to share some of the info with you guys and offer a giveaway!!

First, let’s hear from Amy herself. Why does she love Norwex?

Norwex has been life changing for me. I started selling it to get free product, and hopefully earn extra income. Little did I know how much I would love it! As a single mom, I struggle with having enough time and money. Norwex has saved me so much time with cleaning. I also have volunteer helpers, because these product are easy and fun for my kids. I’ve saved money by cutting out chemical cleaners from my shopping list. What I appreciate the very most is knowing that I’ve created a safe haven for my family. By ditching the chemicals, my home is a much healthier environment. It feels great to share these things with others. I love people! I get great joy from hearing how using Norwex has blessed others lives, as it has my own.

Now like I mentioned, I’m very new to Norwex, so I’ve only tried a few of the products but I do have some favorites so far.

Blue Diamond

This cleaner safely cleans toilets, basins and most other hard bathroom surfaces without fumes. I have had trouble cleaning my stove. I’ve tried several products and couldn’t get it easily clean. With use of my kitchen scrub cloth and the blue diamond cleaner (diluted with water in a spray bottle) I was able to get my surface clean.

Stove-Blue-Diamond

Then I marched up to my shower to clean my shower doors. If I’m honest with you, I rarely clean my shower doors. The glass is frosted so the doors will never be clear, but I haven’t really attempted to get the hard water off the doors. Again, my kitchen scrub cloth (using kitchen in the name is deceiving, it’s awesome in the bathroom) and the blue diamond cleaner came throw. It’s maybe hard to tell in the picture since the glass doors aren’t clean and are frosted, but I can see the difference. It’s awesome. And it really didn’t require a lot of elbow grease… bonus!!

Kitchen Scrub Cloth

Well with the blue diamond above, I also told you all the reasons I love the kitchen scrub cloth. This isn’t a regular cloth, the checkerboard pattern is designed specifically for hard-to-clean surfaces. I love the combination of the soft cloth with the scrubbing fibers woven in with them. It’s awesome and works hard so you don’t have too.

Don’t wait for the giveaway to end, order a kitchen scrub cloth now!

Baby Body Cloth

Today I learned that baby soaps are not pH balanced for a baby’s skin but for their eyes so it doesn’t burn if it gets in their eyes. This lack of balance creates dry skin for babies. I know my babies have struggled with that. My 5 month old has a big dry skin problem as well as eczema. I’m so excited about the baby body cloth which has super-soft Norwex antibacterial Microfiber that I can use to clean my baby.

Since Amy is the Norwex pro I asked her what her favorites are:

Microfiber Wet Mop

I love my mop! It’s never been so quick and easy to clean my floors. It now takes me a fourth of the time it once took. My floors have never looked better. They are smooth and shiny. I’m so happy to be done buying chemicals to clean them. I save money, and keep that yucky stuff off my floors. A bonus is that that handle adjusts to different heights. This is my children’s new favorite choir.

EnviroCloth

I don’t know what I did before getting my Enviro Cloth. I never want to clean without it again. This cloth cleans everything, and without chemicals. That means more space in my cupboards, and less laundry to do. It picks up so much, even microscopic bacteria. Since using this cloth, no one has been sick in my home. That’s because it picks up 99% of bacteria. It picks them up and removes them. It’s not leaving dead bacteria, or almost dead bacteria creating super bugs. It’s also not leaving chemicals all over my house. Everything feels and looks so clean.

Cleaning Paste

I’ve heard people say that cleaning paste is like elbow grease in a jar. My kiddos call it magic in a jar. I don’t know how it does what it does, but I’m so glad I have it. I can clean my glass stove top in record time. It takes scuff marks off doors and walls without ever removing my paint. It even took permanent hair color off my wooden stool, leaving the finish looking great. This is my disaster go to. I’ve used it so much, but you can’t tell by looking in my jar.  A little goes a long way with cleaning paste.

Now, if you are interested in trying out Norwex Amy opened a party for my readers. Simply click on any of the links in the post and it will take you to the Norwex website. When the website asks if you are shopping as part of a party just scroll to Making of a Mom. You can order whatever you would like to try.

In this choice, I’d like to examine that of the Kitchen Scrub Cloth. Additionally, I’d like to explore the difference that these would provide. In addition, I would take this a step further and use it to help others. From there, I researched this (shared online / offline) and found it to be ideal for cleaning areas in the home – Microfiber Wet Mop – thus it would make things easier for my parents of whom are disabled!
