To paraphrase a popular sentence in Tangled "Best Show Ever!" We went to a Disney on Ice production a few years ago when it was all about the Disney Fairies and that was a fun show, but this show was AMAZING! The skating was great, the tricks were fun, the scenes were beautiful, the costumes were gorgeous. The whole overall production was so fun, attention grabbing and definitely entertaining. My son, who has asked to go home in the middle of every activity we have done this year, was entranced … [Read more...]

Since I was a major caboose, they weren't still skiing by the time I came along.Since I have never been skiing I think it would be so … [Read more...]

Phineas and Ferb: The Best Live Tour Ever! Review
My family recently attended Phineas and Ferb LIVE! This was a super fun show! We are huge fans of Phineas and Ferb the cartoon on Disney Channel. We know all the songs and even have the soundtrack! Our favorite Pandora station is the Phineas and Ferb station (it plays other Disney music as well).Since we are such huge fans of the show, I thought the live performance was predictable (which I liked). I love how they included all of our favorite songs from the cartoon. It was fun to be in such … [Read more...]

Star Gazing
Did anyone else step out to see the meteor shower this weekend? We did! We got up at 5:15am on Sunday morning, threw on our sweatshirts over our jammies and drove out to the country to get away from the city lights. We took pillows and blankets (which we didn’t really need because it was a balmy 60F) and lay on the back of our car. It was a PERFECT night! The sky was clearer than I have ever seen it before. My sister stepped out after feeding her newborn at 2am, and she said the … [Read more...]

We love July 4th!
I hope your Independence Day was as AWESOME as ours! We had a pretty big gathering with my Mom and Dad, 11 Kids and 21 Grandkids, along with a couple of family friends. We started off the morning by attending our church's annual flag raising ceremony by our local boy scouts (very patriotic) and pancake breakfast. From there, we went to the zoo! Woot! This has become somewhat of a tradition over the last 7 years. By the time we left, we were all hot, sweaty (it was only 103F that day…) and … [Read more...]
Shootin’ with the boys
For those of you who don't know, I have 7 brothers; five of which are/were military or law enforcement. So, what are the odds that we don't go shooting when we get together? This picture is out at my Brother-in-Law's land. We all took our guns and shot at targets and bottles. I did better than I thought I would! Check out how cool I am!! Woot! If you look close, you can see the shell casing in the air and the bottle shooting water. Thanks to my Sister-in-Law, Mady, for the awesome photography! … [Read more...]
Fun at the Lake!
One of our favorite places this summer has been the lake. We go out and swim, barbeque and eat watermelon! We’ve gone with my sister and her kids and we’ve gone with Grandma and Grandpa. Their Uncle has also taken them a couple of times with their cousins. We like to go during the week when it isn’t crowded and we have the beach to ourselves. We also have our pick of grills and picnic tables. At our favorite lake, … [Read more...]
