Candy Free Easter Basket Ideas

March 24, 2016 By Stefanie

Candy-Free-Easter-Basket
Don’t get me wrong I love candy and I don’t mind giving my kids candy, but sometimes it’s fun to break from the norm and try something new. Following after my candy free Valentines, we are trying candy free Easter basket ideas this year.

Here is a list of the fun things I thought of to add to our basket. Of course your kids might not like all the same things my kids like so you can add and subtract based on your kids needs. This will just help you get the ideas flowing.

  • Stickers
  • Note pad
  • Crayons
  • Dollar bin toys
  • Sidewalk chalk
  • Yo yo’s
  • Transformers
  • Mr. Potato Head Transformers Mixable, Mashable Heroes
  • My Little Pony Equestria Mini Play Set
  • Socks
  • Clothes
  • Movies
  • Play doh

Seriously, the ideas keep going and going. I had a fun time browsing the dollar bins and special Easter toys at the store and then headed over to the toy aisle for some bigger things for my kids.

Since I’m on the #PlayLikeHasbro team they were kind enough to send a couple big toys for my kids. Check out the links to see the different Transformers, MLP Equestria sets and Mr. Potato Head Transformers available.

My daughter is a teenager so I am able to give her make-up and beauty supplies. When she was younger I would put bubbles, or spring/summer toys.

I have 3 girls and I have always given them each a pearl on all special holidays. So this will be in each basket .I am hoping that there will be enough pearls for each one to make a nice necklace when they are 18.

We really do not put much candy in baskets. My daughter is highly allergic to chocolate so the rabbit is always out. We usually do a movie or two, a small toy, and the cans of chips. The only candy we put in is a bag of starburst jelly beans and gum.
