Summer Boredom Busters: Boneless Skaters, now available at Target

With the heat wave hitting our area, it’s a good time to be trying out some new toys. We were sent three different Boneless Skaters along with the CrayPlay Super Street SkatePark and Big Air Ramp. We can’t wait to get playing.

What are these new #Boneless toys:

#Boneless is a line of electric-powered, mini skateboards with poseable skaters and stunt playsets. Kids can use the figures and the skateboards to do stunts. The skateboards come with a power charger that quick-charges the board in seconds. Kids can twist and bend the #Boneless skaters and pose them in different positions until they find the optimal position for each trick they attempt.

Each figure set includes a skater, skateboard, charging base and collectible deck (3 AA batteries not included). With four play sets to choose from, kids can simulate skateboard tricks and stunts. For more information, see the video below or visit their website:

Assembly was easy. My kids were able to put them together and then decorate the ramp and skate park with the included graffiti stickers. The Boneless Skaters require 3 AAA batteries to be charged so while they assembled everything I put the batteries in the charge packs. The Skaters are really easy to charge, just hold them on the charging dock for about 15 seconds and done! Pro Tip: hold the wheels when you take them off the charging dock so you don’t waste the battery until you are ready to put them down.

We received three of the skaters to play with. They are very bendy so you can position them differently for a variety of tricks and to make cool videos. We also received the skate park that has an all way ramp and a vert dome. One of the fun things about the skaters is that when they hit a fence or other obstacle they bounce off and keep skating.

We did spend a lot of time posing the Boneless skaters to get them to do tricks off the Big Air ramp. This ramp is 3 ft long! It’s awesome because at the end of the ramp you can adjusts the angle of the ramp to set you up for different tricks like flips, long jumps or short jumps . There is also a stunt to help with flips! It does take some trial and error to figure it out but it’s all part of the fun!
