IMG_1158I just ate 5 pints of ice cream… best review ever!! hehe Just kidding, I shared with my family, but still it is a pretty great review! Ben & Jerry’s is known for their always fun, sometimes unique, ice cream flavors. Believe it or not I am not completely versed in Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and so trying these fun 5 flavors was completely new to me!

About Ben & Jerry’s

Ben and Jerry’s met in junior high and became life long friends. After both having failed life plans they decided to team up to start a business. Since they both liked ice cream they decided an ice cream company was what they should do. So after taking a class on ice cream making and combining their life savings with a loan Ben & Jerry’s was born.

Ben & Jerry’s sent me a fun package with 5 free pint coupons. I tried:

Cinnamon Buns – This is caramel ice cream with Cinnamon bun dough and a cinnamon struesel swirl. I was excited for this because I love cinnamon rolls, but for me this didn’t translate well in ice cream form. The dough bites were a little chewy and I didn’t care for the texture. I would give this 1 out of 5 stars.

Blueberry Vanilla Graham Green Frozen Yogurt – This is blueberry and vanilla green frozen yogurts with a graham cracker swirl. I am on a huge greek yogurt kick right now and so I was super excited to try this. I really like the flavor of this frozen yogurt. The blueberry and vanilla together are a yummy, creamy combo. The graham cracker swirl isn’t my favorite part though. It comes across as a little grainy. Overall it is pretty good! I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Phish Food – Chocolate ice cream with gooey marshmallow swirls, caramel swirls and fudge fish. I have heard of this ice cream before, but I hadn’t tried it before this review. I LOVE this ice cream! I love that the caramel is thick so that it is almost chewy. I love the little chocolate fish in the ice cream like scoring a big chuck of chocolate. This was by far my favorite that I tried! I give it 5 out of 5 stars!

Half Baked – Chocolate and Vanilla ice creams mixed with gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough and fudge brownies. This is super tasty as well. The cookie dough has a yummy flavor as do the brownies. Plus I feel like there are generous amounts of each hidden in the ice cream. I give this 4 out of 5 stars!

Mint Chocolate Cookie – Peppermint ice cream with chocolate sandwich cookies. I really like mint things, but only certain flavors of mint. This happened to be a flavor of mint I didn’t care for. I also thought the cookies were on the dry and crumbly side and I might be crazy but this ice cream seemed way colder than the others. I couldn’t eat it without my teeth being sensitive to the cold or getting a brain freeze. I give this one 3 out of 5 stars.

It was so fun to check out the Ben & Jerry’s flavors at several local grocery stores and get to try some great flavors I hadn’t tried before. I’m very happy to announce that Ben & Jerry’s is offering one of my readers the same great package they sent me which includes:

    I love and live off Ben and Jerry’s. I want to try the new flavors. My favorite one is Chocolate Chip cookie dough. So good.

    I’ve only ever had Ben and Jerry’s icecream once. It was dulce delish. And it was really good. I don’t think they make it anymore though.

    Karma Sutra i think it is called-it has been a while since i had ice cream, but if i remember right-that was the name of it.

    Out of the few I’ve tried, I’d have to say the limited edition FroYo Liz Lemon;;; regular ice cream I like the new Chocolate Mint Balls flavor(I don’t recall the exact name, but it’s real new).

    I know it may sound boring but their vanilla ice cream is my absolute favorite. It’s bright and refreshing and I like it even better than Haagen Dazs.

    I just tried the honey frozen yogurt and that was pretty yummy and I really like the cannoli but my all time favorite is coffee heath bar crunch
