For us Back to School is right around the corner. My kids go back in the middle of August. This year is even more exciting for our family because we will have a new Kindergartener. While it is exciting for my son to be growing up and starting school, it also means time for more vaccinations.

I am in my early 30’s (I hate admitting that!) but even I can still remember the day I had to get all my Kindergarten shots. I walked away from the doctor with 5 suckers, 1 for each shot. It was not a happy day.

This year getting our state required back to school vaccinations is easy with the MinuteClinic. You can check the MinuteClinic site to see what . Also, notice on the banner that MinuteClinic is offering a $22 free coupon book while supplies last through 12/1/14. Pick that up when you go in for your back to school vaccinations and physical.

I know as we are leading up to school kids will start asking about participating in sports, or perhaps want to return to the team they were on the previous school year. Sports physicals can be expensive, unless you and take advantage of the $39 offer. That’s a $20 discount! Make sure your little ones are safe, healthy and ready to participate in sports! Even if a physical isn’t required, it’s probably a good idea to make sure they are healthy before starting sports.

Though my kids are young, some of you might have young adults leaving for college. Why not take advantage of one last opportunity to make sure you are sending your kids off into the world healthy and prepared to make a difference! My parents did this to me as I was about to leave for college. They said that once I was on my own it would be harder for them to keep tabs on my health so they at least wanted to know they were sending me off healthy and without issues. I appreciated that gesture and was happy for the peace of mind myself since I had never been on my own before.

Keep kids healthy and active is easy and affordable with the MinuteClinic. Check out the links above to get more information about the physical that is right for your kids.

Yep, already time to start thinking about BTS and immunizations.

Such a fast, easy way to get sports physicals. Always hard to find appointments as the school year gets closer.

It’s nice to see an affordable price for a BTS physical! The cost of seeing a doctor can be so expensive, especially if insurance doesn’t cover it, so some children may not get the opportunity to have their physicals done. Glad to see options!
