alternaVites – An Easy Way for Kids to Take Vitamins

October 6, 2015 By Stefanie

Thanks to alternaVites for sponsoring this information and giveaway. All opinions are my own.

My children haven’t yet learned how to swallow pills. Luckily, there is a plethora of medicines and vitamins out there that come in the form of liquid, strips, chewables, gummies and now powders. Though my kids are mostly willing to try one or more of those kinds of forms, gummies aren’t preferred by me because they are sticky an get stuck in their teeth. Liquids have to be lacking a flavor for 1 of my kids to swallow. Strips are getting harder to find.

In trying to find the best solution for my children to get their needed vitamins and minerals I have found alternaVites.  alternaVites powder has been a welcome change to the world of vitamins in my home.

alternaVites’ award winning unique and patent-pending powder can be poured directly on the tongue where it melts in the mouth (think pixie stick) or mixed into or onto your drink or food of choice. All of our products are sugar free, gluten free, vegetarian/vegan, contain no GMO ingredients and taste delicious.  They also come in daily-dose stick packs which are perfect for travel, carpools, lunch boxes and after school activities.

alternaVites are specially formulated for children ages 4+. The powder is very soft and melts when it hits your tongue. It is free from aspartame, high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. It is vegetarian, gluten free, certified kosher and has no GMO ingredients.

alternaVites sent me several different kinds of vitamins for my kids to try. They were pretty excited by the different flavors. They liked that the powder was so soft. My daughter said she liked that the flavor wasn’t too strong. You don’t have to pour the vitamins on your tongue. You can add it to a smoothie, yogurt, sprinkle over fruit, or add it to any food or drink you would like.
