It may seem like a scary thing to step out on a limb and start your own business. It really isn’t though. Your own business doesn’t have to be some huge corporate thing. This little blog of mine is my small business.

Remember my previous post about how easy it is to start a Supercuts Franchise? Supercut Franchises are a good business because  they are stable, it is a needed service, you have licensed professionals doing the work while you manage the business and it’s widely recognized.
So who are these people starting a business?
1000 People with a net worth of over $200,000 were surveyed and here are the results:
56% are planning on opening or starting a business in the next 12-18 months. (Either alone or with a partner.)
25% are females looking to start their own business.
56% looking to start a business are planning on having a business partner.
31% of the people looking to start a business are planning on going into business with a spouse or domestic partner. (That’s roughly 10% of all respondents.)
30% of respondents looking to start a business are going into business with a friend and 26% are going into business with a colleague.
Females are more likely to go into business with a spouse or domestic partner than males.
How are business partners likely related?
chart
When I was a baby my parents owned a small business. As the chart indicates that spouse is the most likely business partner, that was the case in my families business. For me with my blog, that is the only small business I can relate to and I have also followed the most popular trends. My first co-author on the site was my friend. Now my husband and my sister in law write occasionally. I love having my family help me with this business.
If you are interested in investigating a Supercuts Franchise, the link will help answer questions  and provide the information you are looking for. Start today to build your independent future!
