In a house with tech savvy children, they are usually excited with the gadgets Verizon sends me for testing. The past couple of weeks we have been the host family to the Ellipsis 7 Tablet, exclusively sold by Verizon. This tablet features a 7 inch HD screen which is great for watching Netflix and playing games. The tablet is also narrow enough that you can hold it in one hand.
Since we already own an Android tablet my kids already knew how to work this thing straight out of the box. I love how all Android tablets are pretty similar and so you feel like you know how to use it from the get go. The Ellipsis is no different. It was even a similar size to the tablet we own and so we all knew what we were doing. It was nice to know how to jump in and get started with it.
One of the things I have loved about this tablet is the battery life. It seems to go on and on and on. My son has loved this tablet and he uses it for hours each day. Between playing different game apps and watching a little Netflix, the Ellipsis gets its daily workout here and the battery continued to perform beautifully.
The Ellipsis tablet is a mid priced option at $249.99 but there may be some deals to receive if you purchase with a Verizon contract.
