TRANSFORMERS #ConstructBots – Fun For All

December 18, 2013 By Stefanie

Disclosure: As part of the Mom It Forward blogger network I have been compensation by TRANSFORMERS for this post.Construct-Bots logo

We are huge TRANSFORMERS fans at our house. Since there are so many different spin offs from TRANSFORMERS we own several different types of TRANSFORMERS toys. Bumblebee tends to be a favorite character at our house as we have several toys of him. Well, we just added one more in the form of Construct Bots.

My whole family was so excited when showed up for review at my house. I hadn’t ever heard of Construct Bots so it was fun to be trying out this new toy. This particular TRANSFORMERS Construct Bots is the Buildable Bumblebee Action Figure. This toy is recommended for children age 7+, but with a 4 year that loves TRANSFORMERS I couldn’t keep him away.

The cool thing about the TRANSFORMER Construct Bots is that they come in pieces and you build them! This kit comes with 69 pieces and instructions for making the Bumblebee character, transforming him into a Car and then again into a Jet!! This toy is a 3-in-1! Awesome, right?

This toy definitely was a little bit challenging for my 8 year old daughter. It ended up working out great because it made it a family activity. My husband is also big into TRANSFORMERS so we was happy to step in as builder-in-cheif and help Bumbleebee take shape! Luckily, there is an included instruction guide for help with the building, but you certainly don’t have to follow the directions. Construct Bots definitely lend themselves to being a creative toy. Make your own creation. In fact, all the different Construct Bots are compatible so you can mix and match pieces from different kits!

My husband and son both love Transformers and their favorite is Bumblebee! I’d say it would be challenging for my little guy as well, but together — I’m sure that he and his dad would enjoy something like that!

That’s really cool that you get to put the transformer together and then after its built you can transform it too. Two times the fun with one toy. Awesome!
