November 10, 2015 By Jason

Skylanders Superchargers Racing - The top 10 reasons you need this game!

This year the newest Skylanders game is Skylanders Superchargers Racing. My family always has so much fun playing the Skylanders games and this one is no exception. This  games takes it to a whole new level by adding racing into the classic Skylander game. My son loves racing games and as soon as he saw the box he wanted to start playing. It was hard to get a picture of the box before he ripped it open.

Activision sent us the Skyanders Superchargers Wii starter pack, which includes:

  • 1 Skylanders SuperChargers Racing Game
  • 1 Clown Cruise
  • 1 Hammer Slam Bowser
  • 1 Super Shot Stealth Elf
  • 1 New Superchargers Portal of Power
  • Collection Poster

Here are the top 10 reason to play Skylanders Superchargers

10. Defeat Koas, AGAIN

Koas is back again trying to take over Skyland and this time he has unleashed his most evil weapon yet – the Doom Station of Ultimate Doomstruction. Fight and race trough Skyland to put Koas back in his place.

9. Racing

Yes, that’s right I said racing. Not only can you race on land in the game you can also race over air and sea. Skylanders Superchangers takes racing games to the next level. It’s like Mario Kart with a lot are shooting.

8. Race with Friends

Two people can race against each other at home in an off-line mode. In on-line multiplayer mode you can race against up to 4 players.

7. Racing and StoryGame Play

Racing is not the only thing you can do in the game, there is also classic Skylander story mode.

6. 20 New Skylanders

Each of these new characters will have unique powers and abilities.

5. Collect Vehicles

Now you can collect vehicles to add to your Skylander collection

4. All Old Characters are Playable

One of the greatest things about all the Skylander games is that all the old characters work in the new games

3. New Wii Characters Playable as Skylanders and Amiibos

Two crossover characters have been added to this games: Boswer and Donkey Kong. The cool thing about these characters is that you can use them in Skylanders Superchargers and as Amiibo characters. If you don’t know about Amiibo characters check it out here

Isn’t it so funny how even really young kids pick this stuff up so quickly. My kids have taught me things about these Skylanders that I would have never figured out in a million years. I think “Why can’t you be this interested in your reading homework” haha!

this game sounds like so much fun! My kids are total gamers and I am sure would love this! I like how there is a multi player mode so more than one person can be involved in the action!

My son loves the Skylanders franchise. We have the Superchargers Starter pack (not the racing one) and have been having so much fun defeating the different levels and switching the characters. I’ll be picking up the racing game for Christmas for him.

This looks nifty! I’m actually not familiar with this series but I think it’s something that my nephew will definitely love. Now that’s an idea for me for this coming holidays, haha! Thanks for the post!

This looks like a lot of fun for kids. I love that it is a physical game and not just a video game to actually get kids away from some of the technology.

Wow the older I get the more jealous I get of the games kids get to play with these days.. This looks like a fun game, my baby brother actually loves stuff like this and it’s just in time for Christmas 🙂

I know I am old now…this takes playing Nintendo characters to the next level. To be honest I seen this in the store and I was clueless as to what this was! I asked my 11 year old nephew and he knows what it is and wants it for his upcoming birthday so this post was confirmation!

Jason, I am for one really confused by your review as Boswer and Donkey Kong are only available in the Wii U version, which is an entirely different game from the one you are reviewing. Furthermore you mention storyline, The Wii version DOES not have the storyline. Furthermore the Wii version is a two game play.
