As a nursing Mom it is important to me to have the tools I need to feed my baby. There are times when I have some excess milk or other times when I’m not around to feed him, but he still needs to eat. I was blessed to have a friend give me a great pump when I was pregnant with baby #3. I hadn’t ever had one before so it was a welcome luxury. Unfortunately, I ended up  accidentally stepping on part of it and breaking it. I’m so happy that Tommee Tippee came around at the same time and offered to let me review the Tommee Tippee Double Electric Breast Pump!!

Just looking at the box got me very excited to try it out. It is so sleek looking. It also looks very easy to use with few parts! I LOVE that! When you open the box, inside is the cute black tote that holds the pump and all it’s accessories. Nice!

Look at the top left picture in this collage. Look at the all the stuff that fits in the big tote! Amazing huh! Everything you need is packed up and ready to go. Also, it is so LIGHT! My old breast pump was so heavy it was really hard to take on trips. This pump is so light and small. The pump itself is the oval machine in the bottom right picture of the collage. Notice there are 4 different pump settings: Light, Low, Medium and High.  Included in the Tommee Tippee Double Electric Breast Pump is:

  •  2 x 5 oz. Closer to Nature Feeding Bottles with Slow Flow Nipples
  • 2 x 9 oz. Closer to Nature Feeding Bottles with Protection Lids
  • 4 x Spare Valves
  • 2 x 4 oz Protection Pods
  • 4 x 2 oz Protection Pods
  • 1 x Protection Pod Tray
  • 1 x Carry Bag
  • 6 x Disposable Breast Pads

The pump is very easy to set up. You simply connect the tubing to each bottle and the pump, pick your setting, slide the top of the pump up and it begins. The pump comes with a battery as well as a wall plug. That is a VERY nice feature my old pump didn’t have and one that I love. It’s also fairly quiet when operating, which is super nice!

With the soft silicone cups, pumping is more natural and mimics a baby’s sucking. With the different of pump levels you can start out low to encourage let down and easily increase your level to where it feels comfortable.

Over all this pump rocks! It is light, it is simple and it is easy to use and clean. This is a far more superior breast pump than I have ever seen! You can purchase a Tommee Tipppe Double Electric Breast pump exclusively at Babies R Us on SALE for $159.99. If you know a pregnant Mom or a new Mom this would be an amazing gift to give!
