The Highest Quality Outdoor Storage Sheds for 2021

January 8, 2021 By Stefanie

If your lawn and garden tools and machinery need to be organized into a single location, or need protection from the elements, storage sheds provide exactly what you need. Available in easy to assemble kits, they can be located temporarily or permanently, and are available in pretty much any size and shape you might require. Here are some of the best offerings for 2021.

Sojag

Sojag offers no-nonsense sheds, as well as gazebos, garages, and carports. The 12’ x 10’ Everest model combines steel framing and panels, finished with “Galvalume”. This is a zinc and silicone plated aluminum material, and is finished off with durable wrinkle coat paint. The roof and truss system can withstand up to 35 psf (pounds per square foot) of snow and up to 100 mph winds when anchored properly. This shed is also taller than most on the market, with 94” tall walls, 83” clearance on the main rollup door, and 78” on the side door. Sojag products come with a remarkable 20 year warranty.

Suncast

Suncast makes one of the prettiest mid sized, mid priced sheds, with one example being the 7’ x 7’ Cascade model. It’s also consistently rated the most durable in its class. It features attractive curved-top “transom” style windows. It is constructed from durable, multi-wall resin, and comes equipped with a metal-reinforced roof for added support, and a reinforced floor for supporting riding mowers and other large yard machinery.

Best Barns

The Best Barns 12’ X 16’ Easton shed comes highly recommend for suburban home gardeners. As a barn-sized shed, you have an exceptional amount of space to store all your garden tools, PVC pipe stock, tall ladders, and machinery. It has 2 x 4 premium grade wall studs, and additional SmartSide exterior paneling that keeps the shed sturdy and durable.

Rubbermaid

Rubbermaid has been well known for their lifestyle products since their inception over 80 years ago, and the Horizontal Storage Shed is a recent addition to their lineup. “Horizontal” means it’s more of a trunk than a shed, doubling as a bench that seats two people. It is typically located on a patio or poolside, as it makes an ideal storage container for pool tools and supplies. The double walled construction is made of durable rubber (of course) and an impact resistant floor. Measuring 36″ x 55″ x 28″, it blends in with most backgrounds.

Little Cottage Company

Little Cottage Company’s Amish made Colonial Pinehurst is the fanciest looking example of this group. More like a small cottage than a storage shed, the 12’ x 24’ Colonial Pinehurst is a gardener’s dream. This shed (or cottage) is a fairly easy DIY project as well. The walls have panelized sections, and come with pre cut parts that are ready to assemble. It arrives with all the required hardware, but you will need to provide paint and roofing shingles.

Gino Development

The Mini Portable ATV Shelter from Gino Development is created with the hiker and camper in mind. This ATV Shelter can be used as both a tent and a shed. It’s extremely portable, and easy to carry around on all your travels. Its 10′ x 10′ x 8′ steel frame core is covered with a durable waterproof tarpaulin exterior and is ideal for your bikes, ATVs, motorcycles, and lawn equipment.
