Taking Memory Foam Into the Kids’ Room

We recently played musical bedrooms at our house. We moved my baby out of my room and into his own room which then forced my son and daughter to share a room, for the time being. They were fine with that arrangement because we promised them bunk beds!! Then I needed to get mattresses for these bunk beds. Enter Signature Sleep. After working with their wonderful team to pick the perfect mattress for my daughter, keeping in mind it was going on a bottom bunk, they sent the Memoir 8 Memory Foam mattress.

The Memoir 8 by Signature Sleep is a memory foam mattress that encompasses the comfort of memory foam, minimizes pressure on the body, and provides balanced support. Within minutes it creates a perfectly personalized and balanced form around the body. The Memoir 8 mattress will support body weight evenly, relieve pressure focused on the shoulders, hips, and feet, and eliminate motion disturbance. The result is a unique and unprecedented sleeping experience. The Memoir Mattress Collection will provide lasting comfort, with a dense foam core that ensure years of unbridled durability.

Memory foam mattresses come compressed, vacuum sealed and rolled for easy delivery. I was able to carry this full size, 8″ thick memory foam mattress upstairs to my daughter’s room. After carefully cutting off the plastic and releasing the vacuum seal the bed quickly puffed up into full size. Of course, they do say it may take up to 48 hours to return to actual size and it may release an odor, which we did not experience.

The mattress fit perfectly! I love that this memory foam mattress came in a soft knit fabric cover. Even though it is covered we still put a mattress pad on it for extra protection. This mattress is made up of 2 inches of memory foam and 6 inches of high density foam. It is pretty soft and “cozy” as my daughter calls it.

When I transitioned to a memory foam mattress it took me about 2 weeks before I felt comfortable and adjusted. I wondered if my 8-year-old daughter would have the same issue. She didn’t! She was comfortable right from the start and has loved it ever since. Her bed has become the fun place to hang out. In the evenings when we have family time before bed, we all lay on her bed reading stories and talking about the day. During the day the kids will play in there. I love having the Memoir 8 be such a nice place for my kids and family to gather.

Nice blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from
somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog shine.

Please let me know where you got your design. Many thanks

Howdy this is kinda of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get guidance from someone with
experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
