Sweetly Satisfied with Klondike

Sweetly-Satisfied-Klondike
At our house, we don’t have dessert every night, so when we do have it, I want it to rock! To qualify to have dessert, my kids have to have eaten a sufficient dinner and/or tried something new at the dinner table. Because they need a balance of nutritious, delicious, good food versus a tasty dessert treat, I like to find desserts that can be contained. If you have a pan of brownies or a plate of cookies out, where does it end? Can they have 1, 2, 10? (Ha! they wish 10) And how big are those servings?  I like to keep the dessert contained. I want them happy and satisfied with the amount they get.

Klondike-Kids
Ice cream is a big favorite at our house. Everyone likes it. Ice cream can also be a never ending thing. How many scoops do they get? So I LOVE it when we have Klondike Bars. The special Klondike Kandy ice cream bars come in 12 varieties of classic chocolatey coated and ice cream loaded stickless bars, which are available nationwide. There are awesome flavors like Mint Fudge Cookie, Caramel & Peanuts, Fudge Krunch, and Cookies & Cream. In addition to the Kandy Bar varieties are Cookie Dough Swirl, Caramel Pretzel, Heath, REESE’S, Mint Chocolate Chip, Krunch, OREO, Dark Chocolate, Rocky Road, Double Chocolate, Neapolitan, and Original. There really is a flavor for everyone. Since there are now 6 bars in the box this is a great amount for my family of 5. Previously we would have had to buy 2 boxes, now one will suffice.

My favorite thing about the Klondike Kandy Bars is that besides being incredibly delicious, they are self contained. They are big enough to satisfy everyone. Everyone gets 1 bar, which are generously proportioned if you ask me, and everyone is happy.

Whether it’s hot or cold, Summer or Fall, ice cream is the perfect sweet treat at our house! With all of Klondike’s flavors, everyone is happy and I love the contained dessert.

I had no idea that Klondike had all these different varieties now for their ice cream! I don’t think I could pick just one to try. Ice cream is a perfect treat no matter what time of year it is.

I love ice-cream bars (or lollies), especially anything with white chocolate or raspberry. This is such a good way of including a dessert but at the same time keeping portions under control. Caramel Pretzel is a flavour I want to try.

what a sweet surprise! I didn’t know Klondike had more than justs 1 flavor. I don’t think they’d last too long in my house, especially the OREO and Reese’s flavors!

I remember when I was younger, my uncle worked in an ice cream factory and would bring me Klondike bars all the time. The original ones. I looked forward to them every single day! I love all the different varieties they have now – so delicious!

You know I have only eaten a Klondike bar once in my life…I know I am missing out and now I want some because I do love my ice cream in the winter.

I would definitel yhave to try the Oreo Cookie version. These sound so yummy. I haven’t had a Klondike bar in so long…I think it may be time to change that… 🙂

Klondike bars are always a favorite dessert here. I have loved them since I was a kid when they were a very rare treat. I don’t have a favorite I love all the flavors. My son loves the original vanilla with chocolate shell.

I’ve never eaten a Klondike bar before, but I still can remember those commercials “What would you dooooo for a Klondike Bar” that I heard as a teenager. I wonder if those commercials are still around.

Now i’m singing, “what would you do for a klondike bar”. i love when favorite sweet treats reinvent themselves with new flavors. Klondikes have always been a favorite of my husbands so he’d freak over this, especially the cookie dough ones. Guess I should surprise him and bring back home a few!

It’s my first time to hear about Klondike. Those ice cream bars are cool! It would be easier to eat ice cream in a bar form than from the typical ice cream cone. It’s easier to eat while on the road too!

WOW. Klondike bars have come a long way from the original. I remember my dad having these in the freezer. There were always a real treat in our house. I miss those days. Bring back so many memories!! Thank you for sharing. I think I know what i’ll be adding to my shopping list now!
