They say you don’t know what love is until you have children. I would have to agree. The moment you find out you are having a child you instantly love that child. It is fun as a parent to watch your children learn and grow.
Now don’t start thinking that having children is all bliss, because it is far from it. It is the hardest thing you’ll ever do, beginning with the extreme lack of sleep. I was very blessed with my first two children who are very good sleepers and have been sleeping through the night since they were 6 weeks old. I had to go and ruin my wonderful nights sleep and says filled with naps by adding a third child to the mix. This child doesn’t believe in sleep, he never has. As a newborn and continuing to this day (he is now almost 17 months) he takes one, ONE 30 minute nap a day. He finally sleeps through the night (this happened out of necessity while I was on my last trip to LA) so at least we do get about 9-10 hours of him sleeping at night, but it is brutal.
