San Antonio Vacation

One of the very first family vacations I remember taking was to San Antonio. I think I was about 10 years old. We flew on Southwest's Shamu plane and the stewardesses gave us oreo's because we were some of the only people on the flight. It was a very fun trip! We would eat at the same Coco's restaurant every night because we found a very nice waiter that would help us iron out our plans for the next day. A lot of my childhood memories are fading and I don't remember much, but I sure remember that trip. It was so fun to take a boat ride on the river walk and visit the Alamo.

I now have an old friend who lives in San Antonio and we have talked about going to visit her and her family next summer. Sometimes when I feel like I need a vacation I start to plan a potential itinerary for that trip. There is an awesome website called SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience design to help you find all the attractions you want to visit as well as get a great savings on those attractions!

Some of the great deals I would score from SAVE that I check out when I am planning our trip is to Sea World, my kids would love it! They have a $10 off admission deal!

My kids like to ride kid rides, they aren't quite old enough for bog roller coasters, but SAVE has a great deal on Six Flags so of course we should take advantage of it! When you buy an adult ticket, you get a child's free!

Since it will be summer and hot, San Antonio has a couple water parks and SAVE and save you money there as well with admission discounts!

My kids love going to the zoo, so we could visit the San Antonio zoo and save $2 off our tickets with SAVE.

We would need a place to stay and SAVE has partnered with several area hotels so depending on what attraction you want to stay nearest, there is a deal waiting for you!

You can follow SAVE on twitter @SAVEinSA and get updates on deals and Limited Time Offers!
