My son was very excited when I opened up the box that arrived at my house from Ravensburger and saw this fun new toy! He started yelling “swimming guys, I love swimming guys!” He was even more excited to see that the life preserver could save the “swimming guys” and be reeled back into the vehicle by the push of a button.
Sammy’s rescue vehicle features a spinning lifeguard watchtower and a life preserver that is reeled in when you push the blue buttons on top of the car. It is a bit loud when reeled in, so I had my son close his bedroom door during nap time so it wouldn’t wake the baby. Inside the box is a beach scene as part of the packaging, but my son wanted to use it as a back drop to his pretend play.
I’m really happy to have a toy that is battery free, and inspires imaginative play with my son. He loves playing on the iPhone way too much, so I’m happy for a toy that keeps his attention and gets him off the phone!
