This week we all were sick so we had a couple sick days and a we had a snow day. Needless to say I had some time to kill with the kids! Luckily I also have some random crafty things hanging around the house so we were able to come up with a couple fun activities.
First we made Santa hats. This is super easy, all you need is red construction paper, cotton balls and glue.
Since our refrigerator isn’t magnetic we decided to hang them from our white board!
Today for our snow day we decided to make snowmen… inside, in the warmth of our house! All you need for this craft is white construction paper, random buttons, scrap fabric and some glue.
We glued buttons on for eyes, mouth and on the snowman’s jacket. We colored on a carrot nose. I cut up scraps of fabric and added a scarf for each snowman. The kids thought it would be fun for the snowmen to wear their Santa hats, so I taped them to the wall under their Santa hats. We have had some fun craft days this week!
