Pleygo Monthly Lego Subscription Review

October 4, 2013 By Stefanie

Disclaimer: I received a free 3 month subscription to Pleygo in exchange for my review. All experiences and opinions are my own. Yours may differ.

A couple weeks ago I told you about Pleygo, a monthly subscription service for legos. Now I have actually used the service for about 3 weeks. We just sent back our second lego set and are awaiting our third. We LOVE this service. My kids love legos. My 7 year old daughter loves to sit down and build the sets. My 4 year old son is happy to let her build them as long as he gets to play with them. It has been a beautiful compromise! It also works well for my kids short attention spans. My son likes to play with his sets for about 5 days and then he is done. When he’s done I send it back and get a new one!

Even though we are only on the FAN subscription which is the smallest , the sets we have received have been pretty amazing! Our first set was able to become 3 things – a plane, a helicopter and a boat. Our second set was a flatbed truck that towed a car. It was pretty fun to play with. The flatbed would go up and down and there is a hook used to connect the car, pull it up on the flatbed and tow it. It was fun, even I had a good time with the set.

When you visit the Pleygo website you can browse all their sets. Since they are a new company the sets are limited but they are growing! Just this week they added 3 new huge sets to their collection. They even have a few Lego Friends sets which my daughter loves!

Pleygo has 3 different subscription plans. FAN allows you to rent small/medium sets for $15 a month. SUPER FAN allows you to rent small/medium/large sets for $25 a month. MEGA FAN lets you rent small/medium/large/HUGE sets for $39 a month. Each plan includes free shipping both directions.

Pleygo

Another thing I have loved about reviewing this service is that the owners of Pleygo really care about our opinions and are taking our suggestions for improvement. I was emailed a survey about my thoughts and it was nice to offer some input.

Right now when you sign up for Pleygo you can get your first month free! I think this is a very fun service and my family is really enjoying it. If your kids love legos, this is a very fun subscription service to try out!
