Philips Avent Cup Options

Philips-Avent-Cups

If you have been reading my blog for a while you know how much I love trying to sippy cups. We have reviewed quite a few different types and brands. Today we are talking about two different Philips AVENT sippy cup options.

The Philips AVENT Natural Drinking Cup features 360 degrees of drinking. This cup is meant to simulate drinking from a real cup. This cup is recommended for children ages 12 months+. I would agree with that recommendation because my 10 month old couldn’t quite figure it out.  The cool thing about this cup is that the drinking is lip activated. When your top lip presses against the top of the cup it releases the valve and lets the water flow. The problem is that unless the valve is completely sealed again the cup will spill.

The Philips AVENT Spout Cup is a typical soft spout sipper for children 6 months +. I love the flip top lid to help keep the cup away from germs. The soft spot is gentle on gums and the handles make it easy for baby to use independently. Since my baby will almost be 1 when Christmas rolls around I am saving these cups to wrap for him for under the tree. Since he doesn’t really know what is going on, he won’t mind opening some sippy cups!

Both of these Philips AVENT cups would be great gifts for stocking stuffers or baby showers! They both encourage independent drinking. These cups are available at Toys R Us.
