Perfect Gifts for a Teenage Girl

September 20, 2019 By Stefanie

I can’t believe I’m old enough to have a teenager and yet, here I am! While shopping for my kids has been easy in the past, I just head to the toy aisle, shopping for my teenage daughter has been a different beast. While she does love reading, she’s picky about what she wants to read. I don’t feel like I can get her clothes without her there to try them on, same with shoes. Jewelry, however, is one size fits all and she is super into it!

Last Christmas,  she was really getting into jewelry, as well as her birthstone (she even created a power point presentation on birthstones during her free time), so I knew I couldn’t go wrong heading to the jewelry department. I ended up getting her a single opal on a necklace, she loved it!

When Danbury Mint reached out to review their Daughter Jewelry I excitedly said yes! I was able to pick a couple of pieces I thought she would like, and I was offered one of their best sellers. I decided to give her one piece early, and save the other two for her upcoming birthday. This necklace has an inscription on the back “My little girl yesterday, my friend today and my daughter forever. I love you.” She loved it. I got a squeal and a hug! She immediately removed the necklace she was wearing, and wore this one to school instead.

I have definitely learned a few things about picking out jewelry for my daughter, so I wanted to pass those tips along.

  1. Choose what she likes. This might seem obvious, but sometimes it’s hard. My daughter definitely has a different style than I do. The jewelry I like, isn’t what she would like. I have to put myself in her shoes to choose the styles that she wants.
  2. Make it meaningful. Danbury Mint has a lot of ways to make the jewelry meaningful. You can get jewelry personalized with your daughter’s name. You can choose her birthstone with some of the jewelry. These little touches make the jewelry one of a kind just for her.
  3. Add a little variety. Sometimes my daughter tends to pick out things that look exactly like what she already has. Be bold, be adventurous and add a little variety.
  4. Give quality pieces. Danbury Mint jewelry is affordable (they also offer payment options) and high quality. I feel great knowing that she is getting some really nice pieces of jewelry that will last. Maybe she’ll even pass them on later in her life!

I think my favorite part of purchasing gifts from Danbury Mint is that they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee which includes free returns on personalized products. Who does that? Amazing right?!

When you start shopping for your teenage daughter, definitely head over to Danbury Mint. Don’t miss this Free personalization on Daughter Jewelry!

If you have funds for more, consider getting a cute customizable phone case for your daughter, along with the jewelry. You can add photos, texts, and other visual elements to create a unique personalized phone case for her.
