We have had the same blender for almost 11 years. It is a horrible blender that doesn’t really work. I’m not sure why I have even kept it around taking up space in my kitchen cupboards. I was SO EXCITED to receive the Ninja Ultima blender and throw my old blender away. This blender is pretty amazing and can do anything!

It features:

  • 2.5 Peak Horsepower Motor/24,000 RPM***
  • Only blender with Dual Stage Blending
  • Total Crushing™ & High Speed Cyclonic Blades
  • PRO Variable Speed
  • Gives you a wide range of speeds to
create anything from sauces to whole juices!
  • 2 Single Serve Cups with Sip & Seal™ lids
for personalized drinks on the go

*** Based on peak RPM at freeload.

Ninja-Blender-Strawberry-shakes

Our old story of making a shake used to go something like this: Put in the ice cream, strawberries, and some a milk to the blender pitcher. Turn on the blender for about 30 seconds. Stop blender and stir ingredients with a spoon to get the ice cream to the bottom where the blades were. Start blender for 30 more seconds. Repeat previous steps several times. In the end we still got a chunky not-so-blended shake.

With the Ninja Ultima blender we just add the ingredients, let it blend for about 30 seconds (depending on the ingredients and what you are making) and then BAM you are done!! Check out my video of me making Cookies and Cream shakes:

The Ninja website also has plenty of recipes for you try out!

I love the safety features that the blender has in place. After all, with the cyclonic speed and the total crushing blades it needs some safety features. The blender locks into the base. The lid also locks into the blender to make sure you can’t get your hands near any of the blades.  The blender won’t turn on until everything is locked and secure.

One of my FAVORITE things about this blender is the FLAT bottom. My old blender dipped in at the bottom near the blades, making it nearly impossible to clean. This blender is flat across the bottom. It is so EASY to clean this blender! PLUS the center blades lift out easily for cleaning as well. There are a couple ways you can clean the blender. First, NEVER submerse the bottom motor base in water. Use a damp cloth and wipe it down. To clean the pitcher and single serve cups separate all the parts and place them in the dishwasher. Place lids and attachments on the TOP RACK. Be careful handling the blades because they are sharp! You can also fill the pitcher 3/4 of the way with warm water, add a drop of dish soap and press the pulse button a few times. Once it’s clean remove the pitcher from the base and rinse. Always let the parts dry completely before storing.

The Ninja Ultima Blender is a little pricey at $199.99, but is completely worth it. This high quality blender has the ability to make shakes, soups, juices, mix doughs, acts as a food processor and MORE! It really is a one stop shop for kitchen equipment.
