Patriotic Star Shirt

Patriotic-Star-Shirt
I love dressing my whole family for different holidays. With the 4th of July (or any patriotic holiday) it’s really easy to do because anything with red, white and blue counts. Here is a simple Patriotic Star Shirt  step by step tutorial. There still time to quickly make this before you set out for your 4th of July plans.

Supplies:

Patriotic-Star-Shirt-Supplies
Iron-on fabric sheets, or iron on vinyl
White t-shirt
1″ & 2″ Stars
Iron
Pencil
Fabric scissors

2 inch star 1 inch Star

Directions:
1. Iron your shirt
2. Trace your 2″ star onto the back of your baby fabric once and cut out with scissors

3. Trace your 1″ star onto the back of your iron-on red fabric sheet twice and cut out with fabric scissors
4.  Position your stars onto your shirt, fabric side up
5. Press for 30 seconds using a dry iron cotton setting

6. Let cool for one minute

** To prolong the life of your shirt, you can stitch the edges of your stars after fusing it and lay flat to dry
