New Train Station Adventure at LDC Kansas City

May 15, 2017 By Stefanie

TSA Close Up
Hey Kansas City fans, there is a fun new exhibit at LEGOLAND Discovery Center at Crown Center – Train Station Adventure. Out with the old and in with the new… play place that is. LEGOLAND Discovery Center has been updated. The old play place has been replace with a new and incredibly fun Train Station Adventure play place. Train Station Adventure allows kids to climb, slide, jump and roll around train obstacles and even take control in the conductor’s chair.

In addition to a new play area, your family can also build trains and push them through the famous buildings of Kansas City in a newly added track. Get creative with the train you build and enjoy a couple different tracks.

My family had the opportunity to visit the fun new areas of LEGOLAND Discovery Center and it was a lot of fun. I’m especially impressed with the Train Station Adventure play area. It is a creative layout with some really fun and unique play things inside. My kids favorite was the spinning tunnel. I personally like the pogo pole.

It’s been on our wishlist for a while, but the ticket price is a bit steep for a family. It looks like a blast, though! Everyone I know who’s been says it was really enjoyable.

We have two children, ages 2 and 5. We have never been to KC, but I’m sure they would love Lego Land, and specifically the train station. Aside from this, do you think KC is a good kid friendly place to vacation?
