Up until yesterday this winter had been very mild! We had had a little snow in the past, but nothing significant. Yesterday, however, we got dumped on. Whenever it snows I start thinking of fun winter vacations I would like to take my children on. Growing up I heard story after story of the skiing vacations my parents took my family on… before I was born. Since I was a major caboose, they weren’t still skiing by the time I came along.
Since I have never been skiing I think it would be so fun to go on a family ski 
trip. We could all take lessons and have some fun family memories learning together! This will take a little research on my part to find the appropriate time and place for this vacation to happen. Plus, I probably need my baby weened before we jaunt off on this very active vacation!

I haven’t been skiing since I was about 13 yrs old. Never been downhill but honestly, in my older age, I think I would prefer cross country for myself. Less risk of killing myself or just injuring myself terribly. My three nephews love skiing and go regularly.

I’d love to take a ski trip with my family. I’ve never been skiing before but it looks like so much fun. We do have a little tiny ski place out here where I live but it’s nothing compared to an actual ski resort or anything. Thanks for the heads up SuperTravel. I’ve never been skiing even though I used to (up until 1.5 years ago) live in a snowy Northern state of the US. I’m sort of scared of learning at my age (or any age for that matter). I don’t do well with anything that requires balancing myself.
I’m willing to try once but I really don’t want to break myself doing it.

I used to ski when I was younger..high school age but was never very good at it. I hate the cold. 😉 I’m more of a sit by the fire in the ski lodge type of girl! 😀 or the hot tub!

Believe it or not, I’ve never even SEEN snow! I’d love to take my kids a little bit north so that we could experience snow together for the first time.
