My LEGO Family Christmas Card

December 12, 2013 By Stefanie

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of LEGO. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’m always amazed at the things you can make with LEGO. It’s true there are kits you can buy that will produce anything from vehicles to homes and animals to buildings. Besides the LEGO kits you can also use your bricks to be creative and build something from your imagination. The options are endless with LEGO.

I’m excited to tell you that now you can even build your family’s holiday card with LEGO. You can build a LEGO Minifigure Family completely customized to match your family. It is really easy and really fun. Check out our Christmas card:

Aren’t those LEGO penguins so cute? Creating this card was so much fun! I had my family gather around the computer so everyone could pick out their own features. When you start to make the card you can customize everything:

  • skin tone
  • hair/ hat
  • facial expression
  • tops
  • bottoms
  • background scenery

We all got a good gigle at some of the possibilities that are available on the LEGO minifigure site. There are a lot of funny costumes available for your LEGO minifigures to wear. There are also several background scenery selections. We all couldn’t agree on a background, so I made the executive choice to go with the igloo. You can also arrange where each family member stands so you can place everyone where you want them. One thing that I don’t have included in my card is a baby. There is a baby option that will insert a little stroller and you can customize the color.

We had a blast making our LEGO minifigure Christmas card. It was also fun to email it to family members and hear their reactions about the card. This season, skip the hard cards and go straight to the LEGO minifigure cards! They are cute and easy to make and your family and friends will love them!

We’re a LEGO family….not just my little guy, but the hubby too! We made one for our family and it was super duper cute! I even added my little dog to ours.

I love the background design! It would be really fun if somehow they could figure out how to put your faces on the lego figure….now that would really be amazing! Love the dog!
